Songs and parental pride at the Chai Wan campus End-of-Primary Ceremony

The late afternoon fading light set a beautiful stage for the End-of-Primary ceremony that took place at Wan Chai on June 20.

The fine weather made it possible to gather all the parents outside, on the terrace, to watch this symbolic moment in their children’s lives.

The CM2 pupils had worked on a show that opened with a bit about the ambivalent feelings every student feels before starting middle school, often torn between excitement and apprehension. The ceremony was also punctuated with a range of songs in French, English and Mandarin – and even an unexpected take on “Baby Shark”!

During the ceremony, each student received a diploma from Headmaster David TRAN, as well as an FIS pen from Primary Director (French Stream) for Chan Wai and Jardine’s campuses Marie ROIG, before waving down to the crowd of parents watching them.

It was a truly beautiful evening that ended with a party in each class.

Two other ceremonies have also been organized for the Y6 pupils in Jardine’s and the CM2 in Tseung Kwan O. More information soon.

Good luck and all the best for your Secondary years, everyone!
