Save the Date! Tuesday 3rd October: Launch of the International Sustainable Development Film Festival

The International Sustainable Development Film Festival will take place this year, marking the 60th anniversary of our school. Ever more open to the world, it will welcome participation from numerous other schools, rom Hong Kong and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

While the festival will take place, as it does every year, as part of French May, the launch of the new edition will take place on Tuesday, 3rd October, and will be marked by the exceptional presence of our patron, Melati Wijsen! The renowned 22-year-old activist, who advocates for environmental causes in front of the world’s leading institutions, will come to our Jardine’s Lookout campus to present the film “Bigger Than Us,” which garnered significant attention at Cannes two years ago. The screening, open to the public, will be followed by an exchange with the audience and a reception. You can already reserve your seats here!

The following day, Melati will lead workshops for around sixty students participating in our festival with her usual dynamism and energy. This induction day, organised in partnership with her organisation Youthtopia and the Crossroads Foundation, is a strong indication of how our school, with its 60 years of experience, is a true force for shaping the future. And since the future does not wait, don’t miss this first meeting! Everyone is welcome to attend the launch of the 3rd edition of the International Sustainable Development Film Festival!
