FIS Strategy: The Future Of Our Students, The Future Of Our School
At a Glance: RSVP for 13th June event!
Dear FIS community,
2023 is a year of celebration for FIS, as we commemorate the foundation of the school in 1963. We are proud of our heritage of 60 years of excellence in education, serving not only the French community in Hong Kong, but also students from all over the world on our four beautiful campuses.
As we near the end of the academic year, the first one for our new Head of School, time has come to share the school’s priorities and strategic objectives, brought together in a strategy roadmap titled “The Future of our Students – The Future of our School”.
As mentioned in my last article in Le Bulletin, the unveiling of this strategy will take place in two steps:
- On 22nd May, at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), I will report on the findings and learnings of systematic community engagements in my first eight months at FIS. These engagements have played a key role in determining the overall direction and specific objectives of the school’s strategy. The AGM can be attended online or on campus.
- On 13th June from 6-8 pm, you are invited to attend a joint presentation by Mr. Robin and myself on the school’s strategy for the future. This interactive session, followed by a reception, will be held in-person on our TKO campus. It is a great opportunity for everyone in the community to come on campus, hear about the school, and engage in meaningful dialogues around the future of FIS (the session will be in English). On 14th June, a summary of the strategy will be shared with the community and posted on our website. Further publications in Le Bulletin and opportunities to engage in conversations around the strategy will be offered early in the 2023-2024 school year.
We hope many of you will consider attending these events, and look forward to welcoming you to dialogue around our students and the future of FIS.
