IEYC and IPC at IS Primary FIS

Issue 06: 21/10/2022 From the Principal

IEYC/IPC Personal Goals

Guiding children in life situations is a fundamental part of life in school and at home. Hong Kong has been through some challenging times recently. This week we addressed some areas during assembly and who the children could speak to if they were worried. IEYC/IPC Personal Goals are a great way to support all students in school and at home. With this in mind we have created a parent guide to help you for IEYC and each Milepost at JL and TKO Campuses. You can find these on Mylfis IS Primary on the parent portal  under additional resources :

IPC and our Definition of Learning

As part of our IPC primary curriculum, we have been encouraging our students and teachers to deepen their understanding of how we learn. Students and staff collaborated in different workshops to create our own FIS definition. Our definition of learning is: Learning is a lifelong process of acquiring knowledge, developing skills and making connections in order to understand the world and our place within it.   You can find out more from our updated web page here.

IEYC/IPC and our Definition of International Mindedness

International Mindedness: As part of both our primary (IEYC/IPC) and secondary curriculum (IB), we have been encouraging our students to deepen their understanding of international mindedness. Students, alongside staff and parents, collaborated in a workshop to create our own FIS definition.  You can find out more from our updated web page here.
