Two projects recently came to life: Student Tech Ambassadors & FIS Web Radio

Issue 62: 3/5/2024

This week let’s celebrate the work done by some very young students, which shows us not only that they are developing skills on their own, but also that as adults we have something to learn from those we teach.

What is it all about?

Firstly, last week, during the break on the BPR campus, Timothée showed us how to improve our presentations made with Google Slides. I learnt a lot and I’m delighted that the students are able to play their role as technology ambassadors and contribute to the enlightenment of everyone.

Luca, meanwhile, will soon be starting a series of workshops dedicated to Python. These will take place on the TKO campus, and will be an excellent opportunity to discover this very popular programming language, which can be useful for both science and humanities teachers and, of course, students who want to revise or get a head start on the curriculum.

And that’s not all! Aurèle, also at TKO, will soon be showing us how to make a short film from start to finish, from scriptwriting to video editing, including the use of the camera and the rules of filming.

Finally, Timothée (him again 👏 ) and Mayeul have produced their first podcast, which is now available on Spotify. The former was responsible for producing the interview with Laurent Pinabel, whom we were lucky enough to host recently, and the latter for editing and directing. There’s even an Instagram account to keep up to date with the podcast!
