Artificial Intelligence and Differentiation
This week, I had the chance to meet up with the entire humanities department for a training session on differentiation and artificial intelligence. The aim was to show just how much can be gained from a tool like this, which can be used quickly and efficiently to create a wide range of activities for students, whatever their needs.
To do this, we used TTSMaker, Suno, SchoolAI and Brisk, but we focused mainly on the Claude AI and on writing prompts. The free version of Claude offers a contextual window of 200,000 tokens, which corresponds to approximately 150,000 words. For example, we were able to ask Claude to provide us with 3 quizzes corresponding to 3 different levels on an excerpt from Greek mythology. We also saw how AI can help build a progression and even use reference documents provided by the teacher. Finally, we showed how AI can act as a tutor for the student and an assistant for the teacher.
