IS Primary Term Three

Issue 60: 19/4/2024 Strategic Objective: , , , From the Principal

Welcome back to Term Three! We hope you all had a fantastic Easter break.

FIS Primary Cross-Stream Book Day

Next week, we have an exciting Book Day planned at FIS Primary. Students have already participated in engaging literary quizzes organised by our librarians. In addition, we have organised buddy reading sessions where all classes will visit another class for 30 minutes to read to each other. We are thrilled to have well-known authors visiting our school, along with special guest readers from the FIS staff. Students are invited to come dressed as a favourite book character.

FIS Primary Cross-Stream Green Week

Starting from the week beginning April 29th, FIS Primary will be hosting Green Week, organised by the Vie Scolaire. This week will be filled with various eco-themed activities, workshops, and planting initiatives. All the activities and actions planned for Green Week align with our FIS Primary Code of Conduct, emphasising values such as respect, cooperation, self-evaluation, engagement, and organisation. We encourage all students to actively participate and embrace the principles of sustainability and environmental awareness.

Day Camps for Year Five and Year Six TKO

Next week, we have day camps scheduled for Year Five and Year Six students at TKO. These camps provide excellent opportunities for students to develop essential skills such as collaboration, resilience, and communication. It is highly important for students to take part in these camps as they offer unique experiences for personal growth and the cultivation of valuable life skills.

We look forward to an enriching and enjoyable Term Three, filled with exciting events and valuable learning experiences for our FIS Primary students.
