Year 12 CAS trip to Siem Reap and request for book donations
Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is one of the three essential core elements that every student must complete as part of the IB Diploma Programme. During the week of April 21st, our Year 12 students will travel to Siem Reap for their CAS trip, which is designed to help students strengthen their CAS portfolios and an opportunity for the cohort to bond as a group. As an essential component of this trip, our students will be helping a primary school to build up its English language library as part of their service. The school is located in a rural area and the existing library is badly in need of renovation, including new bookshelves and of course books to fill them!
Please consider donating any primary-level English language books that you may no longer need by bringing them to the BPR 3/F Library, clearly labeled “Year 12 CAS Trip.” Any donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards a good cause. We need any donations to be received by Tuesday, April 16th in order to have them ready for the trip the following week.
