A Captivating Student-Produced Mini Documentary Revealing the Magic Behind the Scenes!

In a display of talent, creativity, and dedication, French stream students Alexander Delas, Charlotte Gal, and Ana Rado have produced a delightful mini-documentary that chronicles the lead-up to Cinderella’s highly anticipated ballet performance. The project was a grand finale to the school’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, leaving the audience spellbound.

With meticulous attention to detail, the young filmmakers artfully portrayed the final weeks of rehearsals and the emotional journey the cast undertook. The documentary also delved into the backstage chaos and teamwork required to create a seamless production. Throughout the film, the students’ talent for storytelling was evident as they skillfully weaved together interviews, rehearsal footage, and behind-the-scenes glimpses. Interviews with the dancers and director revealed their personal stories, shedding light on the sacrifices and challenges they faced to bring this timeless tale to life.

Ultimately, this FIS collaboration with international principal ballerina Venus Villa showcased our students’ talent and potential. The mini-documentary will remain a cherished memento, reminding everyone of the transformative power of the arts and the indomitable spirit of the next generation.
