Peau d’Âne. – Collaboration at FIS
Week by week I am continually encouraged at how creative our community is.
This coming Thursday at 10:00 in our Jardine’s Lookout Auditorium we will host a performance of the French fairy tale Peau d’Âne – in which 4 French comedians (3 being FIS parents) will perform for the children.
This week I was privileged to enjoy a dress rehearsal performance of it.
I was inspired by the collaboration between everyone involved in the project, from our events technicians, to the performers themselves.
Several workshops have been run by the 2 sections’ teachers, and the students have had a great time engaging with the work. This included the opportunity to sit for a Q and A with the performers, to get more insight into their creative process.
I wish them all the best with this performance and want to share it with our community! The performance is open to the FIS Community.
