Parent/Teacher Conferences (PTCs)

Issue 57: 15/3/2024 Strategic Objective: , , From the Principal

Parent/Teacher Conferences (PTCs)

Parent/Teacher Conferences (PTCs) will take place in person on campuses this term.

PTCs are held to allow you to meet the class teacher and discuss how your child is progressing in the academic year. Your child’s workbooks will be made available on the day so you can look at them before, after and during your PTC.

End of Year Reports

End-of-year reports will contain external data for Maths and Reading for Y2 – Y6.  We use GL Assessments from the UK. For Reading, you will get a reading age and standardised assessment score (SAS). For Maths, you will also receive a SAS. Reports will contain detailed assessment information from ongoing assessments throughout the year on key objectives from class teachers and specialist teachers. In addition, there will be a comment section from the teacher and the French teacher.

If you are planning to leave the school, receiving schools ask for the latest end-of-year report plus an admissions report that the school sends to our school.

Having reflected on their learning, children in Years 1- 6 were set targets for Writing, Mathematics and Personal Learning Goals (IPC) . These were communicated in the mid-year progress checkpoint sent in January on Google Classroom. You are invited to review them with your child.
