Our annual International Stream Sports Day was held this week at Wan Chai Sports Stadium on Wednesday, 13 March. It was a fantastic day filled with house-spirited competition and impressive athletic performances from our talented FIS students. After a few days of rain in Hong Kong, it was perfect weather that added to the overall enjoyment of the day.

The students have been working hard in their PE lessons improving techniques and fitness, ready to showcase their skills on the day. All year groups participated enthusiastically in a range of events, including: long jump, shot put, 100m sprint, and the thrilling 4x100m relay races which included students and staff. It was a wonderful display of the strong bond between teachers and students.

In the spirit of healthy competition, all four houses—Dragon, Panda, Phoenix, and Snakes—competed for the coveted House Cup. The atmosphere was electric as students cheered on their houses, motivating their teammates to give their best performances. This was best seen in the 4x100m relay after lunch. In the end, there can only be one winner so a massive congratulations to the Dragons for emerging as the overall winners on the day closely followed by Phoenix.

Dragon House captains Tiffany and Memphis celebrated with the cup and their exceptional leadership skills paid tribute to the success of Dragon House.

A big thank you and sincere gratitude to all the competitors, teachers, parents, and students who contributed to the success of the Sports Day. Your support and participation made the event truly memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.
