Issue 47: 8/12/2023 , Blue Pool Road News (Reflections and Achievements) Y7, Y8, Y9, Y10, Y11, Y12, Y13, 1ère, Terminale

Thank you to all the students in Visual Arts and all those who contributed to the project “This Christmas Go Green and Colourful”, set up by the students in premiere arts as specialty. This collaborative project aimed to create a tree entirely decorated with origami. All FIS students were  encouraged to be part of it.

The goal of this collaborative project was to create a Christmas tree entirely decorated with origamis, whilst promoting sustainable development ♻️  …and they have mastered folding origami techniques! They were very inspired, recycling, cutting and folding paper to create such as: Star, Crane, Butterfly, Rabbit, Bird, Penguin, Fox, Koi fish and even Dragons 🐧 ⭐️🦋🐰🦜❄️🎏 🦊♻️

After assembling them all on a fishing line, they provided 24 long “tinsels” (on over 400 cm) with 45 to 50 origamis attached to each of them.                                 A great deal! More than 1200 colourful origamis and 100% recycled paper ♻️🫶♻️

You can see our unique Christmas tree @  G/F-BPR campus ⭐️✨⭐️
