Mayaa! A great association in Hong Kong and a loyal FIS partner
Do you know Mayaa?
Once again this year, we are delighted to share our joint project with the BPR and TKO inter-campus Student Life Council, which is part of our Citizenship Programme.
With the Mayaa Association, we are organising a collection of ‘small gifts’ for a local primary school in Sham Shui Po, Kaifong Welfare Association Primary School (300 pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds), which is also celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
This project will be an opportunity for our secondary school students to interact with a local school and share a common experience of mutual aid. We will be going to meet them before the Chinese New Year on Cultural Day, which will take place on 6th February 2024.
Our collection will begin on Monday 08 January 2024 on all 4 campuses, primary and secondary, where drop-off boxes will be set up in the school buildings.
