Science week at FIS

We wrapped up an exciting week of science at FIS with our annual Science Week. Thank you to all the students who participated and the teachers who helped put this amazing eventful week together.

Monday was quiz day for the years 7-9 students. Congratulations to Snakes, the overall winners!

Tuesday was a thrilling relay race, where students raced against each other in mixed teams to answer questions on science trivia. Congratulations to Dragons, the overall winners!

Wednesday every science lesson had an exciting demo, including chip pan fires, methane bubbles, whoosh bottles, screaming jelly babies, and hydrogen rockets.

A big thank you to all the year 8 students for participating in singing the periodic table during morning break on Thursday.

Finally, the winners of the photography competition were revealed on Friday, and congratulations to all the students who won!
