Interactive exhibition on DNA and chromosomes (1ères SVT specialty)

On Wednesday, 8th November, 2023, Première specialising in Life and Earth Sciences (SVT) of the French department ran an interactive exhibition on DNA and chromosomes, under the guidance of their teacher Mr. RASCALOU.

Through hands-on workshops, they introduced adult visitors (teachers, nurses, management) to the composition of DNA and its different levels of structuring.

On the menu: observation of chromosomes under the microscope, DNA extraction, DNA modelling and mock-ups, comparison of the chromosomes of men, women, chimpanzees and wheat… The visit ended with a highly competitive quiz!
