The FIS basketball teams returned to the court a few weeks ago. Here’s a round-up of the latest performances from our basketball players.

On 21st October at Blue Pool Road, the mixed U12s won a very close match (26-23) against the HKIS Hawks Epsilon team. Well done to Clara, Lucian, Liam, Yamato and Berlin for this fine performance, in which every one of our players scored!

At the same time, the U14 girls lost to ISF in an equally close match. They responded in fine style last weekend, winning 37-18 against the HKIS Kappa Hawks. Well done to Maria, Isée, Naomi, Margot, Julie, Rhéa, Lucia and Anaïs for this victory. Next up this weekend against ISF for a rematch!

Both U14 boys’ teams were in action last weekend.

The Division 3 team beat HKIS Hawks Tau 27-23. Led by the lively Ulysse, our team played a great game and won by a narrow margin. Well done to Benjamin, Oscar, Théophile, Rex, Dan, Ruben, Jules, Norris, André and Jayden.

Hopefully they’ll keep up the momentum this weekend for their next match on the ISF campus.

Finally, the Division 2 U14 team won their first match of the season with a very aggressive 16-0 first-half defense, and managed to hold on for a 28-20 victory over the HKIS Eagles. Well done to Félix, Alex, Joshua, Jordan, Felipe, Howard and Yon! Next match on November 18 at ISF!
