AI Conference

Issue 43: 10/11/2023 Blue Pool Road News (Reflections and Achievements) Terminale

The Artificial Intelligence Conference, which was held on October 17th, 3:40-5:30 PM, aimed to present the impact of Artificial Intelligence across various fields and industries. While AI-powered virtual assistants and chatbots have gained significant attention, many innovations in replicating human intelligence should also be recognized. AI finds applications in healthcare, education, agriculture, disaster management, and even the military.

However, the resemblance of AI to humans raises important questions. How far should we allow AI to mirror ourselves, using technologies like DeepFake and humanoid robots? Ethical considerations surrounding AI development come into play. Additionally, concerns about data privacy, job displacement, and potential mass unemployment have yet to be solved.

The Artificial Intelligence Conference offers a platform to explore the applications and ethical considerations of AI. The event features speakers who will present their research on specific topics related to AI, each delivering a 10-minute presentation. The conference welcomes all TERMINALE students with the goal of having everyone participating and engaging in discussions about AI’s impact and implications.
