60th Anniversary Murals

Icons representative of Hong Kong and France will cover 40 large squares (blue, white, red and tricolor). Keira, Tiffany, Mengli and Mattis, who are in charge of the project, have created 6 canvases for the  FIS Gala 60th anniversary , which already give an overview of the future fresco. After working on a selection of photographs, they developed stencils that illustrate more than 32 French or Hong Kong icons. They will soon present all of their work to high school students from both streams who will  assist them to  make the other stencils.  It is a long and consistent process, but no doubt the result will be very successful. These 6 paintings will be auctioned at the FIS Gala on 25th November. You will discover 3 French icons such as  the Eiffel Tower: emblematic monument, the Mona Lisa and its enigmatic smile and the tricolor Tour de France. The icons of Hong Kong are illustrated by Bruce Lee, iconic character, as well as the ferry that crosses the port of perfumes and the jockey who gallops to win his race.

An exhibition will take place next February, as well as the inauguration of the mural on our campus. We keep the surprise of the other icons for next year.
