4ème OUTDOOR ADVENTURE DAY

As part of the compulsory curriculum, the FIS PE team and all the students from 4ème departed in the far from winter weather on Friday to the Lobster Bay coastline to participate in a day of paddle-boarding, coasteering, and team-building beach games. Supported by the HKOutsider instructors and their outdoor expertise, the students learned new skills and adapted themselves to the natural settings. Students from both TKO and BPR campuses were split into mixed groups and were able to take on new challenges outside of their comfort zones and make new friends. As part of their “global citizen” responsibilities, the students tied in a Beach Clean-up into their adventures and were challenged in their teams to start a fire and boil an egg – Congratulations to Team Pink!!

This excellent day of sunshine, sea, and action was perfectly finished off with an evening meal and marshmallows around the campfire.
