Attention parents of 3ème to Terminale students:

WORKSHOPS TO BUILD CONFIDENCE IN SPEAKING

Did you know that, for effective communication, body language and voice are more important than the choice of words?

From early school age, our children learn to master verbal language, construct sentences and then develop their arguments.

But have they had enough opportunity to learn how to develop their body language? How to modulate the tone of their voice? How to breathe? Do they know how to present themselves? How to convince?

For several years now, FIS has been offering a range of workshops led by Frédérique Blanchard, a certified coach and trainer who runs workshops on self-confidence and public speaking.

This workshop complements the work carried out throughout the year by the University Guidance Team. These workshops are for groups of just four students, so everyone can get the most out of them. Each workshop lasts two hours and includes some theory, but is above all, practical.

We offer 3 types of workshops:

• 3ème students – « Gaining self-confidence »
• 2nde and 1ère students – « Mastering my presentation »
• Terminale students  – « Maintenance targets »
