The first student newsletter of 2023/24
Hello everyone! My name is Jiya from Y12, and I am the head editor of the FIS student newsletter! We are a student-run organisation full of passionate writers. We are a team made up of people across year groups (from Y7-13). We also have a very talented graphic designer, Georgia (who is also in Y12).
Our aim is to provide informative yet entertaining articles for all of you to read. Readers can look forward to pieces covering a range of topics, including sports, entertainment, science, politics and more! We even have a few writers who are keen to write short fictional stories, and we are also open to submissions to have art pieces on display. Sometimes our issues will be thematic (for example, our October issue is Halloween themed), so you can expect some beautiful thematic designs made by Georgia! Readers can expect a new issue every month!
