The Hong Kong Schools Federation organised the inter-school swimming competition on October 5 and 12.

Some forty international and local schools competed over 2 days in a wide range of individual and team relay events.

12 FIS swimmers represented our school at this flagship competition of the year.

Our students performed brilliantly, with some fine individual performances, including :

Marilyn T., 4th in 50m freestyle C Grade
Chloé A., 1st in C Grade 100m freestyle and 2nd in C Grade 50m backstroke
Maxence N., finalist in 50 m backstroke B Grade
Kelly D., 2nd in 100m and 50m freestyle in B Grade
Zoe Z., finalist in 50m breaststroke B Grade

And a final (8th place) in the boys’ B grade 4×50 medley relay: Maxence N., Erwann Z. and Leo X.

Congratulations to all our young swimmers, finalists or not (Justine, Dylan, Briella, Jonathan) and a big thank you to the families who came to support them!

Next goal for the LFI swimming team, the Asian Games in Shanghai
