Hello FIS Community,
It was such a pleasure to welcome you at the Meet and Greet coffee mornings at the FIS campuses! We were happy to have the chance to connect and tell you a bit more about our efforts to create a strong school community to better support our students.
JOIN A FISCA COMMITTEE
As the saying goes, there’s no “I” in team and FISCA is definitely a team effort!
Many of you are members of our general volunteer group for one-off projects at our various campuses (and thank you for that!); however, we are also in search of volunteers for continuous involvement.
In addition to the core team of dedicated parents that guide FISCA, we have a few ongoing committees that help move our work forward. We collaborate as a team, so you’ll never be on a project by yourself, and other members provide lots of help and support.
If you have skills and/or interest in any of these areas and a little time to give, we’d love to hear from you!
Events
This is the team to join if you have event experience or really just like to plan a good time. The events team is the force behind our popular Quiz Nights, Meet and Greets, Family Fun Fair, and much more! Our volunteers also help support school events like the upcoming Gala.
Marketing and Communications
Anyone with an interest in writing, graphic design, or creating communications strategies? We could use your help putting out Le Bulletin each week and getting the word out about all of our fabulous events.
Sustainability
The Sustainability Committee works in partnership with the school staff to advance FIS’ sustainability initiatives. Everything from gardening initiatives to a film festival, this robust committee has something for everyone!
Finance, Governance, and Data
This committee helps us to allocate funds raised, support governance of the FISCA organisation and manage any data we collect responsibly.

FISCA is the French International School Community Association. We collaborate with students, staff, teachers and parents to build a community, nurture goodwill and cooperation, share ideas and resources that enrich the student experience, and support the overall mission of the French International School of Hong Kong.
