Calling all movie fans to join us for FIS’

International Sustainable Development Film Festival

from 8-20 May. 

Who is participating and how can you join us

Almost 40 short films from schools in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Phnom Penh have been submitted in four different categories: Peace, Planet, People, Prosperity. The jury is composed of sustainability students and teachers, parents from the FIS Sustainability Committee, and field experts.

An afternoon of workshops for all ages, concerts, exhibitions, screenings and tasting of eco-friendly products, Grand Jury Prize award-giving and Closing Ceremony.
Q&A with speaker: Edwin Lau, environmental activist in Hong Kong, founder of the organisation The Green Earth.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS ON SATURDAY, 20 May

OPENING CEREMONY

The Opening Ceremony for the film festival was held on Tuesday, 9th May at the Jardines’ Lookout Campus. The very first awards were announced at the event. Iris Nollet and Liya Lerinturier from FIS, won the “Peace” category with their film Stalag 325. And also to Emilie Benoit, Pascal Ye, and Enzhuo Wan from the Lycee Francais de Shanghai who won the “Planet” category with their film Reborn. There was a special award in the “Planet” category given to Antoine Liu from FIS for his film Un Diner Couteux. The film festival is not only about creativity, passion and talent but also about exploring and emphasizing all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Help us celebrate our youth and their inspiring messages of consciousness so together we co-create change. Hope to see you on May 20th!
