March is sustainable development month!

Issue 23: 24/3/2023 From the Principal

The month of March is sustainable development month.

Last week, the “My little planet” project was launched in GS and CP at the Jardine’s and TKO campuses, and other classes have also chosen to get involved!

Ma Petite Planète is an ecological project, individual and collective, in class and at home, which is managed by a French association supported by the French Ministry of Education. The objective of this project is to raise awareness on the importance of sustainable development in everyday life.

On 30th March, the CM2 classes will play the climate fresque game. The game will be facilitated by high school students who have benefited from training coordinated by our Sustainable Development Coordinator, Martial Jaume. The aim of this game is to give our students a greater understanding of major climate issues.

“The Climate Fresk is an innovative, effective and accessible tool to understand the scientific basis of climate change. Disseminating this knowledge widely is essential for everyone to be able to take action in line with the emergency.”

This project is part of the school-college liaison, just like the CM1 and CM2 science projects carried out in collaboration with a Julien Senant, a physics-chemistry teacher at the secondary school.
