Y5s involved in beach cleanup!

Well done to Y5 students Aisha, Austin, Chelsea, Enayah, Janna and her little sister, Sadie and her younger brother, as well as their families who participated in a beach cleanup last Saturday morning on Campersite beach in Nam Wai village which was organised by Ocean 3 C / Sous les déchets la plage.

They collected 250 plastic bottles, 300 bottles cups, polystyrene and general plastic waste and sorted it out to be recycled and realised how much plastic is polluting beaches!

A good way to start making some changes in our daily life to reduce the use of plastic.

They are all keen to attend the next beach cleanup in March!
