1ère Life and Earth Science students visit Institut Pasteur

On Tuesday, 22nd November, as part of the Fête des Sciences 2022 organised by the Consulate General of France, 1ère Life & Earth Science students had the opportunity to visit the research center of the Institut Pasteur on the campus of the University of Hong Kong (HKU), accompanied by the SVT teachers Ms. Bergonzi and Mr. Rascalou.

This was an opportunity for the students to meet researchers in their laboratory, as well as to discover the different fields and research projects of the Institute, some of them illustrating the applications of the various biotechnology methods taught in science and technology classes.

The visit then ended with the exhibition “From Louis to Pasteur, 1822-1895”, in the Faculty of Medicine.
