Diwali celebrations

On Monday, we celebrated Diwali at FIS. Students dressed up in either traditional clothing or bright colours in celebration of the festival of lights.  

Thank you to all the parents who came in to share their special traditions and customs with us. Students enjoyed learning about the story of Diwali with the help of puppets, PowerPoints and stories. Their favourite activity was painting and decorating Diyas, an oil lamp made from clay.
