FIS in the Grand Finals of the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition

Last year, the French International School Debate Team attended the Hong Kong Senior Schools Debating competition (HKSSDC) and achieved 1st runner up overall in the 2021-2022 academic year. This was a large accomplishment for all involved, and as a whole the Debate Team is very proud to have achieved such a thing. The competition is open to all secondary schools in Hong Kong, and has a huge number of attendees. While the competition was fierce, the Debate Team managed to win FIS a new trophy to add to the cabinet. 

The FIS Debate Team is looking to expand and is looking for new talent eager to become good debaters. Now open to all ages, from year 7 – 13, meetings are held for Juniors (Y7-9) at 11:37 on Tuesdays (Period 4) in room 105, and Senior meetings (Y10-13) are held at 12:35 on Wednesdays (Period 5) in room 105. Prior experience is welcomed but not required to join.
