Representing Hong Kong Barbarians

I’m writing to you to tell you about my weekend in Singapore playing rugby with the Hong Kong Barbarians. I played scrum half and played with some of my friends from the Sai Kung Stingrays along with other players from the Football Club, Sandy Bay, USRC Tigers, DB Pirates and Valley Fort. It was a fantastic experience and a lot of fun. The hotel was very nice, the pool was very clean and the milkshakes were amazing!

As captain of the team I had to do all the talking with the referees and players and we played 9 games which was pretty tiring. Even though I had a hand injury, I still played all the games.

In the end our 2 sides won both the Cup and Plate.

The highlights of the weekend for me were winning the trophy, scoring tries but mostly making new friends from different rugby clubs.
