On Sunday 13 November, FIS was represented at the Remembrance Day Ceremony which took place in Central. According to this British tradition, the Sunday closest to 11 November is for remembering and honouring the memory of those who died during the two World Wars. The French International School was invited to take part in this highly symbolic ceremony; 4 students represented the school and laid a wreath of poppies. At the end of the ceremony the students were able to talk with the Consul General of France, Mr Eric Berti, who emotionally reminded them that this tribute was also, for the French, tinged with the memory of the attacks which took place exactly one year ago.
