Report on 3rd June Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of FIS met for its eighth session of the year on Monday the 3rd of June. In our commitment to United and Sound Governance, here is a summary of the information that was discussed, considered, and voted.

Our Members assembled at our Blue Pool Road Campus in the 3rd floor Library, where prior to the meeting they had an opportunity to view the opening of the Wall of Icons Art installation as part of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations.

The Board welcomed its Members Elect – Ms Sher Li Tan and Mr Gilles Marino – as guest observers to their first meeting. Their mandate will start officially on September 1st.

In keeping with our core cultural values of collaboration and growth and accountability; Board Members and Senior Operational Leaders participated in a workshop related to a forthcoming performance tracking dashboard where they were able to discuss and make suggestions for improvements.

The board then conducted a vote to approve the Articles of Association of FISCA (FIS Community Association), and to grant it the usage of the School name and address.

Following this, our Head of School Dr. Emmanuel Bonin presented an update on the Head of School Goals and his self-evaluation progress to members of the board, noting key successes and identifiable areas of improvement.

The Board will meet for its final meeting of the 23-24 School year on Monday June 24th.
