The French International School has been constantly evolving since 1963! From relocations to constructions, from projects to innovations, our school community is vibrant and dynamic, reflecting the territory that hosts it. François Drémeaux tells the story of the French International School of Hong Kong, weaving together institutional milestones and individual trajectories that have enriched our institution.

Biography: Dr François Drémeaux has a doctorate in history, specialising in international relations and maritime and social history. He taught at FIS for 10 years. He is now a research fellow at California State University and still Visiting Assistant Professor at HKU. He is a regular speaker at SciencesPo Paris. François Drémeaux is the author of two history books about Hong Kong: Hong Kong French Connections, and Blackboard in the Fragrant Harbour.
