IS Primary end of Term Two
Dear IS Primary parents,
Updates
Next week is the final week of term two, with many exciting activities and events planned across the campuses. Thank you for all your continued support and attendance at events and activities!
Miss Payne, Vice Principal, returned from maternity leave on Thursday. Congratulations to Melissa on the birth of her son from all of us at FIS. As Principal of the International Stream Primary, I return to the normal cycle of Monday – Tuesday at JL Campus, Wednesday – Thursday at the TKO campus and Friday at CW Campus.
Assemblies
This half term, our assemblies have focused on the IPC personal goal communicator:
- To be a communicator, I aim to express myself clearly, positively and appropriately to get my message across.
- Je m’exprime clairement et de manière positive pour faire passer mon message.
Exit Points
We have had lots of Exit Points this term and have been able to welcome many parents. Exit points are opportunities for students to share their learning with parents, other students or both!
The Exit Point completes every unit. It helps children to draw on their prior learning, reminding them of all the connections between subjects that they have made. It creates time and opportunities to build their understanding of their learning and to reflect individually and as a group.
Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC)
This term, parent-teacher conferences are in person on campuses. Your child’s workbooks will be available.
