Nexus Children’s Global Summit
The Children’s Global Nexus Summit is an annual event that strives to connect students from all regions on shared experiences.
The summit is attended by primary students from around the world including Scotland, Malaysia, Singapore and Mumbai to name a few. Three of our own Y6 students, Audrey A., Maya C. and Pranika M. participated in the online summit on Tuesday afternoon.
This years topic was, “What does peace mean to you?” In such turbulent times, what peace means to an individual can vary according to their geographical location or busy lifestyles. It was fantastic to hear so many different opinions, ideas and examples of peace while still recognising the similarities that unite us all.
Our students represented FIS and Hong Kong well, displaying confidence, enthusiasm and an open-minded approach to their speeches as well as the group discussion.
Congratulations to all!
