On Thursday 10th November Makha Diop and colleagues from African Drum and Dance Connection worked with 3ème students on djembe, African drumming, as well as song and dance. Originally from West Africa, these artists gave students an authentic, interactive, inspiring and insightful experience into African arts and culture. These workshops are part of the EPI cross-curricular project that the 3ème students are working on with their English and music teachers: African-American Voices.
