Applicants who have not previously attended a French state school or a school in the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad) network may be asked to sit a test before being sent an offer of admission. The assessment format depends on the year group applied for.

Waiting list

After submitting an application, all applicants are placed on a waiting list. You will not be told your position on the waiting list as it will change over time, in line with the priority system. Families will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available for the relevant year group.

Campus preference

Our admissions team will contact you to ask about your campus preference and to confirm you would still like your child to join us. With many families applying up to four years before their child’s potential entry to FIS, it is important you let us know of any changes to your contact details.
