Latest FISCA News & Family Fun Fair Vendor Sign-up
Hello FIS Community,
We hope you are relaxed and rejuvenated after the break and are happy to catch up with everyone’s vacation stories. It seems many of us had the opportunity to travel again, and we are grateful to broaden our horizons with new adventures and live vicariously through our community’s travel stories.
FISCA’s last Quiz Night before the holidays was a great success! Parents, teachers and the school management team huddled together to put their thinking caps on. Our quiz master tested our motivated audience with questions ranging from recognising celebrity baby photos or snippets of pop songs, to Hong Kong-specific trivia, geography and much more.
A round of applause goes to Team ‘Steph de Monaco’ for achieving the most points and who were ecstatic to go home with some wonderful prizes generously donated by our school. Keep your eyes peeled for a photo recap of the FISCA Quiz Night on the FIS official social media pages.
Dinner was catered by Chartwells and included a healthy selection of hors d’oeuvres, some warm and aromatic curries and a delightful dessert display of delicate petits fours with fresh fruit on the side to finish off with. Of course, BYO bottle helped ease up and release our neuro power!
Preparations for the Family Fun Fair are in full swing. The planning team is busy organising the vendors, performances and activities our children can look forward to.
We will be needing ad hoc volunteers on the day to, for example, to help out at the various booths such as the bookstall, cake and cupcake cafe, sustainability corner, etc. We will be sending out a roster shortly for you to sign up with your availability.
But for now we would like to call all parents who run businesses: Vendors are invited to showcase their businesses and connect with the local community. The event, which will take place on June 3rd, 2023, at the French International School Jardine’s Lookout Campus, is expected to attract families, students, and community members of all ages. There will be a variety of activities, games, and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. This is an excellent opportunity for vendors to grow their businesses and connect with potential customers.
If you run a business and you would like to rent a table at the fair to sell your products to the FIS Community, vendor applications are now being accepted. Please contact fisca@g.lwww.fis.edu.hk for more information.

ABOUT FISCA
FISCA is the French International School Community Association. We collaborate with students, staff, teachers and parents to build community, nurture goodwill and cooperation, share ideas and resources that enrich the student experience, and support the overall mission of the French International School of Hong Kong.
