CAS week Activities Selection for 26-29 June 2023 – Years 7 to 10

We are pleased to be able to finally send to you details of CAS week activities for years 7, 8, 9 & 10 for the last week of term from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 June 2023 (all students will be expected to attend on Friday 30 June to review their activities and make presentations to show their learning).  The staff have collectively come together to offer a range of opportunities that we hope will engage all our students in some new learning environments.

It has been quite difficult to put these together. The current climate has led to reduced and more expensive flights in particular, and so we are unable to offer the range of outside HK trips that were previously in place before 2020. Even within HK we have found that costs have risen quite dramatically and our providers are asking more for activities we have run in the past.

Nonetheless we have been able to get a programme together at short notice. It is an opportunity for your child(ren) to do something new, and learn a new skill. So please encourage them to be adventurous in their choices and put themselves out of their comfort zones.

The initial form that you submit (by Tuesday 18 April 17h00) is an intention of what you would like to choose. We will then work on sorting these requests over the following couple of days in order to send firm offers of places on Friday 21 April. If you wish to know more about any of the activities, please contact the individual staff members identified on the activity in the brochure.
