Want to nominate a teacher for the Cambridge dedicated teacher award 2023?

Issue 19: 17/2/2023 From the Principal

I am writing to you to let you know that the Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards 2023 are now open for nominations. The Dedicated Teacher Awards are a global competition run by Cambridge University Press, the education group that run the IGCSE qualifications that FIS offer in years 10 & 11.  This is an opportunity for students to nominate their favourite teacher and give them a big thank you.

For example, your child might like to nominate their teacher for driving them many miles to an extra-curricular competition, making a remote lesson come to life with videos or props, or for something as simple as being there when they needed to talk.
All of the teachers at our school love their work and are very proud of the students they teach. If your child would like to show their appreciation, they are able to find out more and nominate their teacher for the awards by visiting dedicatedteacher.cambridge.org

Although our teachers would be delighted to receive any nominations, please do not feel that this is compulsory or in any way expected of you or your child.

Thank you very much.
