The IB Diploma results for 2024 have just been released and we are pleased to share the outcomes for our students. Mr. Mark Williams, Principal of the International Stream Secondary School is quoted as saying: ”We are incredibly proud of the diligence and perseverance that our graduating students of the 2024 cohort have shown in the completion of the IB Diploma journey. We are grateful to their teachers for their commitment to helping them achieve their full academic potential.
As an inclusive school, where all students are offered the opportunity to sit for the IB Diploma, we would like to congratulate each and every student upon the successful completion of one of the world’s foremost pre-university courses.”
At FIS this year an improved 97% of students passed, with a similar average score to last year of 34 points per student. This compares favourably with the world average of 30 points. Highlights include an increase in the number of students scoring over 40 points, a maximum score of 44 points, as well as an improvement in the percentage of those achieving a bilingual diploma.
