Talk by Dr Amel Ghouila about "Big Data"
Dr Amel Ghouila will introduce "Big Data" and Data Analysis by modelling and coding, and will present practical examples, especially in the biomedical field.
Aimed at secondary students in the French & International Streams and mandatory for students in Première and Terminale, this talk is also open to parents:

A computer scientist by background, Amel Ghouila earned her PhD in Bioinformatics from the Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics and Microelectronics in Montpellier, France. She is currently a bioinformatics researcher at Institut Pasteur de Tunis, where she works on the frame of the pan-African bioinformatics network H3ABionet supporting researchers and their projects while developing bioinformatics capacity throughout Africa.
Dr Amel Ghouila is a Mozilla Science fellow, passionate about knowledge transfer and working open to foster collaborations and innovation in the biomedical research field. She is also passionate about empowering and educating young girls, she launched the Technovation Challenge Tunisian chapter to help Tunisian girls learn how to address challenges in their communities by designing mobile applications.
