The International Stream students had the pleasure of welcoming 16 parents on Wednesday 5 October 2016 to give them advice on what it takes to be successful in a range of careers that may be of interest to them in the future.
Students went to 3 different workshops dedicated to such career paths as banking, law, medicine, engineering, aviation, corporate leadership, journalism, entrepreneurship and the diplomatic corps.
The students showed a keen interest in all the workshops that they attended, and many reported that it had opened their eyes to a career that had perhaps seemed beyond them previously.
Parents appreciated the way in which the students were keen to listen and learn more, and were impressed with some of the well-thought out questions asked by some students.
