On Monday 20 February the collection organised at Blue Pool Road for Operation Mushroom went very well. Many students came to give their coffee grounds to representative of the French NGO “So In So Good” which follows small Hong Kong companies working on social responsibility. The teachers took part as well.
A few weeks after handing over their coffee grounds and buying online a box, the students will receive their box containing coffee grounds and seeds to grow edible fungi. It will then be up to them to grow and pick these mushrooms.
