Nature Escape for CP Students from Chai Wan !

14 December 2017News, Uncategorized

Thanks to our guide Sophie Fromental, the children learned to identify some animals and plants which are commonly found in Hong Kong. They were surprised to learn that some species, like the monkeys which live around the reservoirs, were imported by boat by the English and that some species, like the pink dolphins, are endangered.

Our students quietly observed the beautiful birds within the protected netting of the aviary: mina birds, pigeons, parakeets… which they could later draw. The visit ended with watching a flock of cockatoos on one of the old trees in the park.

Thank you to Sophie who was passionate in sharing her knowledge with our young students.
