The Class of 2017 have demonstrated through their excellent results and the joy with which they were received that the Baccalaureate continues to be an important step in student life. Mr Soulard, celebrated the hard work of another year.

These results not only reflect our students’ hard work, they are also testament to the commitment and dedication of our teaching staff. We aim to prepare students for the future and are delighted to see our Class of 2017 will continue their learning journey at some of the top institutions worldwide.”

In order to recognise the students’ work, determination and perseverance FIS hosted a Baccalaureate Medal Ceremony. An original creation made in the workshops of the Quai de Conti in Paris by craftsmen from the French Mint, the medal encompasses the spirit of the Diploma: Marianne surrounded by laurel and oak branches symbolises the academic value and the engraved student’s name shows their success.

The Class of 2017 is truly a successful one with 45% of students in Terminale receiving ‘mention très bien’ (the average in France was 12.8% in 2016) and a total of 73% with ‘mention bien’ and ‘très bien’. We wish them a future as glorious and filled with success as their results.
