FFF, FIS key career event to answer the question “What will I do when I grow up?”

On Saturday 14th December, FIS organised the FIS Future Fair (FFF) – a joint career fair for the International and French stream students. Our students met professionals from 27 different sectors during sessions in a small group set-up, which encouraged questions and aroused curiosity.

What is the FFF philosophy? Allow our students to project themselves into professional life, to gather information, to discover opportunities through concrete experiences from “real life” professionals.

The diversity and quality of the guest speakers was particularly great. The University Guidance department also wants to thank them for their availability, their willingness to share their experiences and to talk about the complexity of “knowing what one wants to do professionally” and the different routes that a student can take with a particular degree and career in mind.

The collaborative nature of this event was also very impressive, with the FIS community greatly involved at all stages: half of the speakers were from the FIS parent community, in addition to the student committee (Y12 and Première students) leading the communication campaign and designing the event poster.

“La French Radio” covered the FFF and collected impressions from students who participated … Take a listen!
