Escape Game during the Mathematics Week

For its 8th year, the Mathematics Week took place from March 11 to 17 on the theme “Let's play Mathematics together”. In addition to various competitions (Rallye, Kangourou, Olympiades, Scratch, “Course aux nombres”, Alkindi, riddles ...), the BPR and TKO campuses have received a superb exhibition.

And this year, a new activity was created: some Secondary students (6eme and 4eme in TKO and some classes of 6eme, 5eme and 4eme in BPR) had the chance to participate in an “Escape Game”: during the first Opium War, our budding detectives, in teams of 6 or 7, had an hour to solve the riddles and open the locked box, which itself contained a final riddle.

Invisible ink, QR codes to complete and scan, riddles in coded alphabet, inverted writing... a lot to test the neurons of our students!

Eurielle Andreani et Tristan Pennel warmly thank Benjamin Barre, Gérald Herbet, Xavier Andreani, Mathieu Bartozzi, Hang Ngo, Julien Guichet and particularly, Florence Bougeard without whom this project won’t have been possible.
