ECA Arts & Photography Exhibition

Students from the ECA Arts Workshop and the ECA Photography Workshop will exhibit this year’s work for a few days. Don’t miss it!

From Tuesday 6 June to Friday 9 June
8:30am to 5:30pm
Multipurpose Room (Ground Floor) Blue Pool Road

The Arts Workshop aims to develop both technical and creative aspects of Visual Arts. It is for students in lower secondary, from Yr 7 – 10, and is divided into 2 groups of 12 students.  Each workshop is for one hour (Wednesday 1:30 – 2:30pm or 2:30 – 3:30pm at BPR campus).

The different student ages, styles and sources of inspiration ensure rich and fresh artwork every year! Paintings on canvas, sculpting, mixed techniques, representational and abstract work allow students to find new ways to express themselves.

The Photography Workshop aims to teach students in a fun way how use their camera so that they can express their creativity. It takes place on Wednesdays at BPR from 2 – 3:30pm and is mainly for lower secondary students.  Between 8 – 12 students take part.

The trainee photographers find out about digital and manual photography, how to manage light both inside and outside, depth of filed … In addition, they use Photoshop which allows them to edit their snaps (contrast, saturation, exposure …)  and also to make photomontages (replicating, floating …)
